Stay a While - Canvas Print

“Stay a While” settles into the room like an old invitation written in ink. Large black serif letters rest on a linen-toned ground, ringed by climbing green vines and small ochre blossoms. At the lower edge, a dark wooden chair with a woven seat waits beneath the foliage, lending the scene a patient, lived-in hush. This canvas print balances botanical delicacy with the sturdy quiet of furniture that has heard many conversations.

The curving stems seem to be rehearsing the ancient idea that a house is partly built by what lingers there: a pause, a chair, a little green insistence. The lettering has the softened grain of letterpress, as though the message has been pressed into cloth rather than merely printed. In this canvas print, the open center feels intentionally unhurried, leaving the words room to breathe while the vines conduct their slow, leafy ceremony.
