We Are Not Perfect, But We Keep Showing Up - Canvas Print

“We Are Not Perfect, But We Keep Showing Up” arrives in sweeping hand-painted lettering, where black, clay red, and mustard words take turns carrying the weight of the thought. This canvas print lets the sentence breathe across a warm cream field, framed by broad, restless arcs of blush, rust, ocher, and ink. The word “Perfect” surges in red with an almost mischievous confidence, while the smaller black lines feel like voices that have learned when to speak softly. Dotted marks and a simple red heart keep the composition loose, tactile, and unmistakably human.

The brushwork has the delightful evidence of a kitchen-table manifesto: streaks, skips, and bristling edges refuse to behave too neatly. Perhaps that is the visual joke—perfection would be terribly overdressed for a message about persistence. A mustard underline gives “showing up” a small stage, and this canvas print holds that brave, everyday promise without polishing away its fingerprints.
