Cat in a Yellow Raincoat - Canvas Print

“Cat in a Yellow Raincoat” waits beneath a dark wooden shelter while rain turns the roadside into a long, reflective ribbon. The tabby sits upright in a butter-yellow coat, its alert face aimed toward the curving wet road as though it has been entrusted with the timetable. Gray clouds press low over soft green trees, and pink blossoms lean from the hedge like small sparks refusing to be discouraged. This canvas print holds the hush between showers, when every puddle seems to be listening.

There is a tiny comedy in the coat’s serious buttons and hood: the weather has clearly met a passenger who came prepared. Cats are rumored to consider rain a personal insult, yet this one gives the storm a patient, green-eyed inspection from its dry threshold. The canvas print lets the winding road remain unresolved, a silver question disappearing into the trees, while the sheltered cat keeps its calm, unofficial post through the damp afternoon without complaint.
