Tabby Cat of the Cardboard Castle - Canvas Print

“Tabby Cat of the Cardboard Castle” places a gray tabby at the dark arched doorway of an extravagant cardboard fortress, wearing a red cape clasped with a gold button. Pointed red roofs rise above crenelated towers, while blue flags and red-and-blue banners add a tiny tournament’s worth of ceremony. This canvas print glows with mustard yellow, sky blue, warm kraft brown, and cream, its graphic shapes making the cheerful room feel like a kingdom temporarily claimed by scissors and packing tape.

The cat’s bright eyes and lifted chin suggest that the official business of the realm is already underway, perhaps involving naps, inspections, and a strict ban on folded laundry. A mustard armchair, blue lamp, leafy plants, and a bold rug frame the castle without competing with its grand little drama. The canvas print preserves the humorous scale of the scene: one small ruler, a palace of corrugated walls, and flags that appear ready to salute any passing treat.
