Grizzly Bear with Mountain Heart - Canvas Print

“Grizzly Bear with Mountain Heart” stands in a quiet cream-colored space, built from overlapping paper-cut layers in rust, spruce green, sand, and midnight navy. Its watchful face and heavy paws give the figure a grounded, almost ceremonial presence, while sharp-edged fur layers make its coat seem to rustle without wind. Across its broad shoulder and flank, a miniature wilderness unfurls: dark pines, pale water, rolling green ridges, and snow-tipped mountains. This canvas print holds the bear and its interior landscape in one composed silhouette.

The image plays with a pleasantly impossible idea: perhaps a grizzly does not travel through the mountains, but carries their memory beneath its fur. Each cut-paper contour resembles a small geological stratum, as if the animal had been patiently assembled by forests with excellent scissors. The canvas print lets the calm eyes remain the anchor, even as the landscape wanders across the body like a private map.
